Creating art is a solitary process. An excellent reason for many of us to have furry studio critics. Walking through the pigment, snoozing on paintings, drinking paint water; my cat's have done it all!
Charcoal was destined to become an artists companion. A shelter rescue he was originally named Crayon and then returned. We decided he deserved another artistic name and a fresh chance. GOOD DECISION.
Mind you he immediately let me know who was boss by knocking over a bottle of masking fluid destroying several expensive brushes.
He has been known to express his opinion about my work.
This pose is often followed by a yawn and then some gentle snoring.
