Finding visual magic happens so frequently that I usually carry my camera. Even though phones can take great shots I still love the versatility of my Fuji. I was on my way to the Toronto Outdoor Art Show a few years ago when this scene unfolded.
As I stepped out of the Eaton Centre there she was lost in telling an ancient story oblivious to the bustle and roar of the city centre. Her every expression and movement an essential part of telling her timeless tale. Her exquisite attire shimmering in the sun. From her amazing headdress, delicately embroidered collar to her silk skirts she was like a delicate mirage. Making her way as a street performer by honouring her ancestry. Her only nod to the modern world the devise that played the century's old music with which she beguiled her astonished audience.
