From laying down my base of light yellows I have moved to glazing in orange and red tones. These are beginning to create a sense of depth. Using darker greens I have begun to define the shaggy petal shapes.
My next step will be to develop the shadows and details in both the flower and leaves. Using two different methods- adding more reds and oranges as well as yellows compliment, purple. Doing this will help finish to bringing this flower to life.
